TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background is relevant. It suggests the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.
Platforms
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from a single account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural after using both.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be on the roadmap. That will be a good addition once it is live.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
This is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. The point is they invested in proper execution. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.
Regulation
This is the part that matters. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. It should be part of your decision.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
